Dr. Jason Postlethwaite, DO is a board-certified osteopathic family physician. He grew up on a small farm in Otis Orchards, Washington, and spent much of his youth playing hockey, hunting, fishing, and camping. He finished pre-med at Washington State University with a Bachelors in Genetics and Cell Biology in 2013. He attended medical school at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine. Graduating in 2017 with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed his three years of Family Medicine Residency at Oklahoma State University Medical Center in 2020.
During his medical training he worked with a physician who was actually curing his patients with nothing more than his hands, and some simple, safe injection techniques. He became more interested in this type of practice, and continued to learn how to prevent unnecessary surgeries and medication overuse. Once he completed his training and moved to Missoula, he discovered that the Missoula Osteopathic Clinic was doing the same type of medicine, and decided it would be a good fit. Since joining the practice in early 2022, he continues to learn from his patients, and seeks out continuing medical education in the Osteopathic and Regenerative Medicine fields. He is also interested in incorporating more procedures to help with pain, neuropathic conditions, anti-aging, and even some aesthetics.
In his free time, he enjoys exploring the beautiful wilderness surrounding Missoula, hiking, camping, and foraging.
